Preventive measures to control malaria include different types of treatments and precautionary measures. Malaria is an acute infectious disease which is caused by Plasmodium falciparum and is spread by a vector mosquito known as female anopheles mosquito. Control of malaria is a complicated task as it needs to control all the three living beings involved i.e., man the host, plasmodium the agent, and mosquito the vector.
Malaria a serious and life-threatening disease. It is transmitted and spread in the humans through the bite of an infected female Anopheles mosquito, also known as “malaria vectors.” Malaria symptoms can mimic many other diseases, such as influenza or viral syndrome. Therefore it is important to inquire about recent travel history to an endemic area or other possible exposures.
